My name is Anna Stavreva, I am a maker and craft practitioner with a focus on research-led design specifically around climate education and craft.
I am interested in questions around how craft can facilitate meaningful experiences and relationships between students, makers, objects and the natural world. I aim to create ‘things’ that question, sparking conversation, imagining a better future. My practice is primarily situated within polymers (bio- and recycled) + wood, and I have skills across ceramics, metal (light and heavy) + 2D art. This breadth of experience allows me to explore and combine techniques and knowledge across material disciplines
